Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is a non-profit organization that provides services to adults, children, and families with disabilities. RSI has been providing innovative services to help people with disabilities live in the home setting of their choice since 1978. We believe that all people, regardless of their disability, can live successfully in a community-based setting given the proper supports.

RSI is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing support to individuals with a wide range of developmental, physical, and mental health disabilities in adult foster care homes. This position will support programs in Virginia, Hibbing, and Cook. Hours are Monday-Friday with hours flexing between 8a-6p (no holidays or weekends required). Travel is required with the use of a company vehicle or mileage reimbursement provided.

Job Summary: The LPN, under the direction of the RN, provides nursing care to individuals with developmental, physical and mental health disabilities. The LPN assists the RN in monitoring the health and medical care of people receiving services and provides training to direct care staff. The LPN contributes to the mission and goals of RSI and meets the requirements of federal, state and local regulatory and licensing or accrediting agencies. Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing

Current Minnesota LPN license that must be shown upon hire

Work Experience:

Preference given to a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience working with people with disabilities.
