Piper Companies is currently seeking a
Customer Logistics Quality Assurance Specialist to support an industrial company based in Mesa, Arizona . The Customer Logistics Quality Assurance Specialist will oversee inspections and maintain the QA tools and area. Responsibilities of the Customer Logistics Quality Assurance Specialist:- Performs quality inspections on a large variety of parts such as impellers, pinions, shafts, couplings, coils, bolts, hoses, etc.
- Reads blueprints for the purpose of verifying the accuracy of the part, confirming measurements.
- Attends weekly meetings with local buyers from the Phoenix location to obtain dispositions for nonconforming product.
- Manages the Inspection/Quality Assurance area to include organization, and cleaning. Works with the warehouse to make sure products are returned to stock, scrapped, or brought to QA for inspection.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience in a quality assurance/quality control role
- SAP experience
- Salary ranges based on level of experience between $55,000-$75,000
