Job Description
North 40 Outfitters is searching for 1 full-time Assistant Benefits Administrator at our Home Office in Great Falls, MT. This position is responsible for assisting the Benefits Manager with the day-to-day operations of our benefits program. Past experience/specialized knowledge with ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, SECTION 125, MEDICARE and HSA is a plus, but not necessary. If you have a willingness to learn, we will train you!
This position is responsible for the following:
- · Assisting our Benefit Manager with many administrative duties
- · Preparation and distribution of written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits
- · Assists with the resolution of employee questions and problems
- · Assists with coordination of benefit setup, deduction and compliance reporting issues
- · Maintains benefit records
- · Contributes to team effort by producing results as expected
Qualifications
- Must be reliable
- Must be organized and have attention to detail
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work successfully in a team environment
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines by effective planning and priority setting
- Must have computer proficiency with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook and interface with HRIS software packages.
- Physical Ability: Sitting for extended periods (over 2 hours), infrequently required to climb, stoop, bend, reach, sit or stand, while handling light objects, and occasionally up to 25 lb. boxes.
