Clinical Assistant (Bellingham, WA)

JOB SUMMARY:

Infusion Solutions, Inc in Bellingham WA is looking for a clinical minded professional responsible for assisting the Nursing Team. Assigned supportive activities will include maintaining patients clinical chart information, assisting nurses with patient flow, and setting up infusion suites for schedule treatments. In this position, one will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to our patients and family members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Maintains supply par levels in patient infusion suites

Maintains lab supply par levels

Manage laundry stock, pick up and drop off when applicable

Screens patients per policies and procedures

Rooms patients

Obtains patient weights

Cleans infusion suites

Maintains infusion therapy equipment

Adheres to all applicable agency, payroll, billing and documentation policies and procedures

Assists nurses with taking vital signs; Reports vital signs to nurses in a timely manor

Uses proper body mechanics, and lifting techniques

Prepares charts for nurses

Checks equipment and supplies for expiration dates, levels, functionality: examples included but not limited to O2 levels, Anaphylactic kit expiry dates, supplies in suites and vehicles.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

Experience with compliance and legal documentation of orders, history and physical and consents preferred.

Clinical experience preferred.

Medical terminology knowledge preferred

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

If CAN, LPN, or MA, certification from appropriate state required.

Current CPR for Healthcare Providers

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Graduation, NA or MA Certificate or Associates Degree Preferred
