Heavy Equipment & Truck Mechanic Position (Sandpoint, ID.)

FIELD/SHOP MECHANIC POSITION: Sandpoint, Id. based Peak Sand & Gravel is searching for a self-motivated, experienced Mechanic who would like to start a career at a successful construction company. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Caterpillar equipment, over-the-road trucks, crushing equipment, and any other equipment in our fleet. Position will require troubleshooting skills, computer skills, and hands-on experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. This position will require both shop and field work. There will be occasional travel within the inland northwest. Position will be swing shift with a pay rate differential.

Requirements: Min. 3-5 yrs. in Heavy Equipment and Truck Maintenance

Diesel Mechanic training and field experience preferred

Class A or B Commercial Driver's License

Competitive Hourly wage D.O.E.
