Opportunity Name: Change Management Project Manager- Contract- Local to MN only as you will need to be on site a couple of times a monthComments: 3-4 year engagement in 12 month incrementsInterview process: One Interview with: PMO Mgr, Change mgmt leader and the PM currently doing this People will likely need to go to Thief or Bloomington once or twice a month. Would be for a day or half day of meetings. This person would be working with a Sr. Manager of Change Mgmt There are 4 major transformations taking place right now that this PM will be helping.This role will come in as a consultant working with the Sr. Manager to define best processes and procedures around change management as the company goes through these enterprise transformations. They'll work with multiple departments and stakeholders. As the client has grown they're working to iron out inefficiencies so as they continue to grow they won't need to hire alot more people, they want to focus on making their current staff more efficient.1. Help stand up enterprise change management methodology and best practices2. Needs strong PM background to help carry out standing up and redefining the change mgmt org3. PMP or Change Mgmt certs won't hurt4. Need to help overcome aversion to changeJob Description: Knowledge, Skills and Experience Change Management • Advocates for a balance of driving the timeline (PM) and taking care of teams (CM). • Understands that change success depends on buying/ building great solutions, but also the acceptance of the people. • Sees the value of incorporating change efforts into the charter. • Partners pro-actively with CM team. Does not wait until there is a problem or resistance. • Ensures that there is attention to identifying stakeholders and their needs, creating an elevator pitch and building an initial comm plan. • Uses qualitative and quantitative data to measure success. • Experience with large technology implementations or transformation • Preferred: Change management certification: Examples: Prosci; Accelerating Change and Transitions through Destra • Preferred: Have successfully incorporated change activities into day-to-day project management Project Management • Experience using multiple planning and delivery frameworks and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Iterative, Waterfall, Hybrid) • Provide project planning, coordination and management. Including detailed project plans, milestone management, issue/risk/mitigation management, reporting, estimating, financials, progress tracking, resource planning and allocation. • Plans agendas with team and facilitates meetings to achieve objectives. • Manages, organizes, and maintains project records and documentation. • Facilitates and tracks the review, approval, and sign-off of project deliverables. • Partner, collaborate, and communicate with Exec Sponsor, Business Leadership, and Project Teams. • Develop team organization, communication plans, and escalation procedures. • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience
