Position OverviewNavistar has a great opportunity for an experience Supply Chain Engineer Lead at our Springfield Assembly Plant. This person will develops, implements, and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for supply chain tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing and supply chain operations. Large emphasis on lean manufacturing principles focusing on continuous improvement to help identify waste to reduce costs, improve quality, throughput, and material flow.    Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree

At least 8 years of materials management or supply chain experience

At least 2 years of management experience

ORMaster's degree

At least 6 years of materials management or supply chain experience

At least 2 years of management experience

ORAt least 10 years of materials management or supply chain experience

At least 2 years of management experience

Additional RequirementsQualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired SkillsA BS in Materials Science or Industrial Engineering is preferred
