As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer anopportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where youreally get to know your patients and their families.Vibra Hospital of Denver is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to join our LTACteam!Full Time and Part Time opportunities available!Rotating schedule, some weekendsThe Pharmacy Tech, under the direct supervision of a registeredpharmacist, performs a wide variety of technical and clerical duties relatedto the hospital drug distribution system. Duties would include fillingphysician orders by preparing and distributing medications, includingintravenous admixtures and extemporaneous drug preparations, maintaining thedrug inventory, and maintaining confidential patient records. Mayparticipate in the hospital Antibiotic Stewardship Program with a focus onpatient safety and public health.Contact Ryan for more information: 717-480-7227 or .Qualifications:High school graduate or equivalent required.Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Pharmacy Technician inthe state of employment required.Valid driver's license necessary in states with multiple facilitiesrequiring delivering to sites.Additional Qualifications/Skills:Six (6) months experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred.Ability to project a professional image.Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in theworkplace.Our recruitment team wants to get to know you.
