Marketing Manager or Specialist Based on Experience

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning and managing the development of the company’s marketing program. Designing marketing strategies and develop marketing activities to promote our brand name and increase our brand recognition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Developing annual marketing plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives; managing, implementing and executing the marketing activities, which will include market researches, competitor analyses, and customer service and retention monitoring processes and initiatives
  • Prepare annual operating plans and develop long-range marketing plans for the company
  • Initiate marketing activities included but not limited to develop and implement multiple channels, design and execute advertising/promotions
  • Create and manage the posting of content for all social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and WeChat
  • Carry out a strategy to grow followers/likes and increase engagement on social media channels
  • Coordinating and managing Public Relationship (PR), includes press releases, new opening announcements, new product promotions
  • Performing other work-related duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related discipline required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Marketing and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
  • Ability to think ahead and plan over a 1-2 year time span
  • Technical skills in strategic planning and marketing, business and market development, market research, and planning and promotions/advertising
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals
  • Excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications. (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
  • Must have strong customer support orientation (for internal/external customers), demonstrated professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information
  • Bilingual - Mandarin preferred
