Job Description

In this role, youwill provide project management and program oversight for the development, delivery and future enhancement of the Anitian Cloud Automation suite of products.

You will be responsible for managing internal research and development projects. You will maintain product roadmaps, artifacts, and communication for the DevOps Platform Engineering and Security Architecture teams.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of customer engagements projects for the delivery of DevOps Onboarding, Cloud Security Compliance (FedRAMP, and PCI), and Security Operations services. You will manage all phases of the project: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring control, and closing.

Ideally, you have experience in managing complex SaaS cloud-based projects with deployment in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.

Project Management – 75%

  • Manage and maintain project information including scope, feature definition, and definition of done.
  • Manage and maintain project information including project charter, project engagement portal, WBS, RFIs, change addendums, compliance documentation, project status reports, and metrics
  • Ensure projects are planned, execute, and delivered with high quality
  • Coordinate project logistics and details
  • Establish and maintain project stakeholder involvement, motivation, and support
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings and working sessions with the customer
  • Agile product/project management using Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet
  • Creates a team environment that promotes high performance
  • Build and maintain effective relationships
  • Take accountability for delivering the project
  • Plan and manage for project success in an organized manner
  • Track and manage risks, action items, issues, and decisions
  • Effectively resolve issues and solve problems
  • Seek opportunities to improve project outcomes
  • Use appropriate project management tools and techniques

Program Management – 25%

  • Ensure projects and programs meet objectives and delivery timelines
  • Responsible for handling all aspects of technical projects from initiation through delivery
  • Work closely with Compliance, DevOps and SecOps teams to drive the planning and execution of client-facing and internal projects
  • Maintain project portfolio, and manage multiple client-facing and internal projects simultaneously
  • Gather and create product backlog items for product requirements
  • Support leadership in defining product capabilities
  • Optimize Program and Project Management processes and procedures

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of Jira, Confluence for product development
  • Knowledge of Smartsheet for product & project management
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledgeable of Full SDLC, including best practices
  • Knowledgeable of DevOps, SecOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Knowledgeable practitioner of Agile, Scrum and Kanban Frameworks
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate the project team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Self-starter, proactive, and results-oriented

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity with Cloud Security and Compliance
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST and PCI Security Standards, a plus
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced, startup environment
  • Previous experience in startup or technology company is a plus

Required Education, Certifications, and Training

  • 5+ years of technical program management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field

Desirable Education, Certifications, and Training

  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification (AZ-900) a plus, but not required
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner a plus, but not required
