Job Title: Sales Operations Automation EngineerRequisition ID: 120111BRLocation: Santa Clara, CA or US- RemoteWhat will you do?You'll be working out from our Santa Clara, CA location where our controllers are engineered and built to suit our Life Science customers across the world. This site also carries out the integration and validation of the combined system consisting of our controllers to our equipment consisting of single-use bioreactors, mixers, rockers, and many other specialized life science equipment.Your role is to be the liaison between the customer, outside sales, and various internal subject matter expert groups. Thru these interactions, you'll be task with reviewing quotes for technical accuracy that meet customer requirements. You may be called upon to respond to technical queries from outside sales or serve as the technical representative in meetings with the customer.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares and reviews Automation Project Quotations
Able to respond to functional and technical elements of customer RFP/URS
Identify and prioritize quoting process while working closely with sales team
Provide pre and post-sales support to the sales team and customer base
Able to convey customer requirements to Integration and Project Management
Provide technical support for the sales team and existing pool of customers
Provide control network diagrams
How will you get here?Education:
B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, or related field
Experience:
3-5 years relevant experience in technical inside sales
Proven track record in automation sales and knowledge of process automation technology.
Knowledge of automation control system, DeltaV preferred
Experience in Life Science industry, specifically biopharmaceutical process equipment design is desirable
Experience in technical proposal generation in a process automation environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Work independently, self-motivated, and work under pressure
Familiarity with MS OFFICE programs, i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
Able to work with others, and communicate clearly and professionally
