Child Care Teacher (Infant/Toddler/Preschool) (Brighton, NY)

The Children's Center of Brighton is seeking engaging and nurturing candidates to fill open preschool/toddler/infant teacher positions.

Compensation: 12-19/hr (depending on experience)

Full-Time M-F

Qualifications:

Early childhood or related degree or certificate, HS or GED

Child Care/Teaching Experience preferred

Exhibit knowledge of and act as an advocate for young children.

Commitment to collaboration and community spirit. -Demonstrate a responsible and consistently professional work ethic.

Responsibilities:

Implement a daily program meeting the growth and developmental needs of young children.

Engage with children in meaningful experiences.

Facilitate interactions among children.

Respect and encourage personal choice, self-esteem and independence.

Interact with parents and family members in a non-judgmental manner.

Interact with colleagues in a supportive manner.
