Jefferson Dental Health is a busy dental office in Cicero, NY We take care of patients of all ages .

Seeking professional candidate with a current New York state dental hygiene license for a full time hygienist position. Team player with the ability to multitask who have strong communication ,customer service skills and computer knowledge.

Our hygienists do more than "just" clean teeth. Our hygienists are dental health educators, with a passion for teaching patients about oral hygiene, its effects on overall health, and help understand the link it makes to patient's personal confidence. They examine patients' hard and soft tissues, record the presence of diseases or abnormalities, and work with both the Doctor and patient to resolve any active disease - this is done by utilizing and employing current patient care practices, oral care products, and oral cancer screening - all to help our patients maintain their oral health or manage periodontal disease.Job description include but not limited to,

Removing tartar and plaque from patients' teeth

Applying sealants to protect the teeth of children and adults

Taking dental x-rays

Developing dental x-rays

Updating dental records of patients

Organizing and keeping track of dental records and treatment plans

Teaching patients proper oral hygiene techniques.
