Job Description:SUMMARY:The Human Resources Supervisor, reporting to the Human Resources Director (Regional Lead), is responsible to provide leadership in the organization and is primarily engaged in management activities that establish the direction of a department, function, or project. The position requires the application of knowledge gained from experience and expertise in the listed job duties and responsibilities. The position will make decisions in areas that may impact the organization and its employees, clients, budgets, policies, procedures, work practices, and/or compliance programs.Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities: The Human Resources Supervisor serves as HR Consultant, Employee Relations Lead and performs General Duties / exhibits General Responsibilities in the following:HR CONSULTANT Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems Advise managers on organizational policy matters, and recommend needed changes Act as main resource to respond to queries regarding Human Resource policies and procedures and applicable country regulations Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organizational personnel Human Resource policies and practices Support change management with a focus on employee engagement and retention Serve as internal consultant to managers, supervisors and employees on personnel issues that affect performance and business relationships Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of actionEMPLOYEE RELATIONS LEAD Conduct investigations and provide recommendations and guidance regarding best practices in employment activity to mitigate risk Enter case notes and supporting documentation from investigations into a case management system in a timely/thorough manner. Collaborate with senior management to ensure training and development needs support key business objectives Stay abreast of local, state and federal related legislation. Inform appropriate leaders; make recommendations for training and the cascading information to the affected population.GENERAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Organize and prioritize a variety of complex projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines Problem solving, communication, judgment, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to provide analysis, conclusions, and recommendations Manage and deliver HR presentations and initiatives internally within Fluor Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies Ability to handle change and stressful situations Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards Other duties as assignedJob ID: 124948BRCity: Aliso ViejoState: CaliforniaCountry: United StatesWe reserve the right to modify or revise the job descriptions in part or in its entirety.
