Mechanical Engineering Manager

Job Description

Responsible for overall management of the mechanical design group. Lead and contribute to mechanical design projects, product development, prototypes and advanced technology. Provide training, coaching and mentoring.

Qualifications

Must have outstanding communication, problem-solving and change management skills. Proven track record of managing and leading mechanical design staff. Highly proficient with SolidWorks and working knowledge of SW PDM. Experience with rotating equipment is a plus.

BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, MS is preferred and a minimum of seven years of experience in the field of mechanical engineering, specifically product development. Direct experience with GD&T use in complex, tight tolerances assemblies. Certification in ASME's GDTP (Y14.5) is preferred.
