Currently, this team supports FDSA and EICAS software on Pro Line Fusion platforms. Expect to work on a wide variety of tasks that include (but are not limited to): developing real-time flight critical application software, performing hardware/software integration in the lab, designing / architecting new solutions to meet the needs of our customers and developing requirements and tests to validate the software.Primary Responsibilities:New hires are provided a training plan and mentor to give you the tools and support you need to be successful.The applications being developed would appeal to anyone interested in graphics, Ethernet communications (or general communication protocols), hardware/software integration, elegant algorithms and software design, model-based development, or general computer logic design.Create, document, and test algorithms, control laws, models, and interface definitions.Analyze, document, and conduct verification/validationtesting for systems, products or sub-systems, generally in one functional area.Fluent in a wide variety of programming languages, with a preference for knowledge of C, C, or Python.Knowledge of good software design and knowledge of proven design patterns.Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.Ability to capture, trace and modify requirementsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degreeORIn absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is requiredMust be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holderPreferred Qualifications:Developing real time applications (such as video games) in academia, as a hobby or industry.Collins Aerospace Pro Line Fusion® systemRTCA DO-178B/DO-178C or other formal development standardsModel Based Development (MBD)Matlab / Simulink / Stateflow / VAPSARINC-661, ARINC-429, ARINC-653 / ASL / AFDX / Ethernet-AssetsKey skills for success:Passion for aviation and/or aerospaceGreat attention to detailCollins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
