Honeywell International is a diversified technology and manufacturing leader of aerospace products and services; control technologies for buildings, homes and industry; automotive products; power generation systems; specialty chemicals; fibers; plastics and advanced materials.We, in Honeywell Connected Industries, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced MES Principal Consultant to join our team in Saudi Arabia / Bahrain to lead large projects with customers in Saudi Arabia / GCC region.Your Job Description:The applicant will be, in close collaboration with the Project Manager, Project Team and Regional Engineering Leader responsible for:

Successfully Leading the delivery of Honeywell Connected Industries MES project/program on-time, on-budget, in alignment with the client order and to the full satisfaction of the client unlocking the targeted business value using Honeywell & third-party technologies.

Serving as the customer focal point for technical and functional solution development and deployment of large digital integration project.

Working effectively with the third-party solution providers to ensure adequate commitments in delivering projects.

Actively supporting the local capabilities through Honeywell / Customer local engineers serving Country s indigenous competency development plans.

Working closely with the Subject Matter Experts (SME s) & Project Manager to:

o Design & shape application architecture ensuring that the defined architecture meets performance requirements for Customer. Assess and mitigate risk and issues through the project lifecycle.o Establish acceptance of designs with client Engineering team & end users. Translating and conveying impact of process and system changes to bottom line and articulating the benefits & value to the customer.o Lead an agile design in number of sprints with deep interactions with end users through workshops and prototyping. This is to ensure buy-in and acceptance from the customer. Acitivitie include, but not limited to, project Kick Off, Blue Printing, Detailed Design, FAT, SAT, Project commissioning & support to Change Management.o Proactively recommend potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering/ product development group. Regularly identify & communicate risk in the project and prepare mitigation plans.o Shares technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, and with own / other disciplines. o Communicate with internal team regarding technical issues, escalating these early in the project. o Cultivating client relationships and driving revenue acquisition. o Identify and communicate the product enhancement requests to Product Managers.

Ensure right priority assigned to it within the organization.Ensure timely and quality deliverables from team through proper planning with Engineering leaders in regions and in Global Engineering Services (GES).

Ensure that applicable norms, common processes, standards, best practices, methodologies, lessons learned, and tools are being used within the MES community this to optimize quality, productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Ensure that completed projects can be and are formally handed over to the Services organization.

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelors Degree

5 years of refinery Operations, Safety Management digitalization practices with knowledge of industry standard technologies in this space

5 years of experience in the project evolution process including financial approvals, permitting, regulatory approvals, etc.

WE VALUE

Masters Degree

Extensive experience in leading a team and driving results

Significant understanding and experience in an industrial segment e.g. Oil & Gas, Petrochemical.

Solid ability to listen to client needs and adapt to their work practices

Excellent oral and written communications skills
