Are you ready to help us make the future?As an Assembler 3 you will produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to make certain the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will take the responsibility for multiple work areas to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the site. You will set up and coordinate the production of gas meters and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to report safety, production and quality improvements. We are looking for an innovative teammate that wants to grow with Honeywell.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and train teammates in 1 or more workstations as well as onboard new team membersReinforce the Honeywell Operating System to identify and refurbish various meter typesCoach and train team members to analyze meter for repairs, if needed, and troubleshoot meter quality problems during the repair processPresent metrics at Tier 1 meetings and drive root cause analysis and corrective actionsRecord, report, and analyze production dataApply knowledge of specific technical/operational practicesRead, interpret and implement order requirements based on instructions and job packetsMonitor compliance with all safety rules within work areas as defined by Cell Risk AssessmentEnsure work area is following standard work, including product labeling, 5S standards, maintenance requirements and optimizing salvage and re-utilization of partsSet up, maintain, change over production equipmentCoordinate and track Meter Analysis station and data entry processesAnalyze information and conceptsCollaborating with others and work independentlyIdentify key details and troubleshootProven track record to communicate information clearlyCreative thinking and idea generationAble to perform under limited supervision 1st or 2nd shift.You must have

A high school diploma or GED

1 year of Assembler 1 or manufacturing experience

We value

2 years of experience as an Assembler 1 or related manufacturing experience

Good hand coordination, motor skills, and manual dexterity skills

Experienced in leading one or more teams

Experience leading improvement activities (e.g. 5S and Kaizen events)
