Visit kcnsc.doe.gov for more information about working for Honeywell at the Kansas City National Security Campus.We are seeking an Analyst to work in the Purchased Products Engineering function to perform detailed, complex information and data analyses to integrate schedule, budget, and technical information, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of defense program projects. The analyst will access and leverage multiple business system applications to mine, supply, interpret, and manage complex data to update key project indicators. The analyst independently and pro-actively executes time-bound responsibilities to ensure project information, data and status are accurate, readily accessible, and translatable to stakeholders, including internal and external customers, Program Management, Supply Chain, Finance and Engineering.This position is in Overland Park, KSDuties:

Aligns directly with one or more project engineers/control account managers, or equivalent for scientific laboratories, to provide project management coordination, issue identification, proposals for resolution and overall execution of plans for complex, high-value products and projects

Collects and analyzes project actual costs (labor, material, services, other) across multiple accounts and departments associated with one or more key engineering products or projects.

Conducts comprehensive analyses of product schedules (e.g., Primavera P6) reviewing logic, durations, milestones, etc. and recommends interventions and corrective actions or solutions

Analyzes labor trends and variances to forecasts and current funding levels to identify the need for and initiate baseline change requests (BCR). Authors and tracks Funding and Earned Value BCRs

Prepares and delivers status communications, reports, and presentations to customers, suppliers, technical and administrative functions, and management stakeholders, at multiple levels, on a regular and frequent basis

Actively participates in and contributes analytical resources to project team to develop, execute and maintain project plans

You Must Have:

US citizenship in order to obtain and maintain US Dept of Energy ""Q"" level security clearance

BS in Business, Technology or related discipline, or equivalent combination of formal education and experience

Minimum five (5) or more years of experience in product/project planning, scheduling, and execution

Must have two (2) or more years of work experience directly analyzing complex technical data and information in an engineering, scientific or manufacturing

We Value:

Five or more years progressive technical and/or programmatic support experience preferred.

Minimum two (2) years of ERP/MRP experience preferred

Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications and business data system software, with emphasis on Excel, Access, business analytics preferred

Extensive knowledge of Supply Chain, demand, contract and/or financial management preferred

Proficient in delivering professional presentations of technical and financial data

Customer focus with a capability to appropriately adapt to rapidly changing demands and expectations

High attention to detail and deadlines while managing multiple priorities and stakeholder interactions

Understand Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

Skilled at forecast and budget data analysis

Great communication skills
