nullIn this role, you have the opportunity toWork within the Sleep and Respiratory Care organization to make the business successful by facilitating continuous process improvement and organizational change. As part of the R&D I2M (Idea to Market) Excellence Team, you will work with business and functional leaders to closely examine how we do work, identify process opportunities and gaps, and apply appropriate lean methods to improve.This role will initially be based in our Monroeville office. Philips will be relocating this office to a new site in Bakery Square , one of the premier locations in Pittsburgh. This is a very exciting time to be joining Philips, as this new location will be the Sleep & Respiratory Center of Excellence. The new office is set to open in late 2020.You are responsible for

Own I2M process definitions for S&RC:

Establish and maintain standard process definitions across business and quality management systems

Establish I2M lifecycle models, tailoring guidelines for projects

Evaluate process adherence and performance

Ensure consistency and efficiency in project execution across S&RC

Lead continuous improvement efforts across S&RC:

Measure and analyze performance through key metrics that identify waste, productivity and efficiency

Plan and execute continuous improvement

Identify opportunities to drive daily management

Lead problem solving teams to identify causes of poor performance and waste - Lean and Six Sigma

Monitor execution of problem solving and improvements through clear plans and metrics that show effectiveness

Establish culture Change Management Plans

Generate and leverage best practices and lessons learned

Represent S&RC and interface with central I2M excellence team:

Report on S&RC process deployments and execution

Drive and provide feedback on continuous I2M Excellence process definitions at the corporate level (influence process based on best practices)

Track ExCo and I2M Excellence KPIs and drive actions to meet them

Coordinate Center of Excellence and Community of Practice programs from within Philips as well as locally in the SRC R&D organization to foster best practices

Lead EU MDR Program or elements associated with R&D, I2M processes

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering and/or business discipline, Master’s Degree is preferred

Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in a regulated environment, medical/bio preferred

Able to cooperate in a global matrix organization / multi-site matrixed environment

Able to influence activities outside R&D scope e.g. finance, marketing, operation, service

Strong demonstrated experience with design for Six Sigma / Green Belt / Lean / Kaizen

Able to influence and work at every level of the organization, from Team Members to Executives

Proven ability to drive Continuous Improvement
