Staff Accountant

DescriptionAre you currently a Staff Accountant but ready to take on more responsibility and gain experience to grow in your career? If so, I have an excellent opportunity for you! I am looking for an experienced Staff Accountant that is ready to show proven results and grow into a Senior Accountant role. As a Staff Accountant, you will take on unique responsibilities as our client is in a period of transition. Typical Staff Accountant responsibilities will be expected in addA typical week may include:

Preparation of budgets and forecasting

Oversight of AP and AR

Revenue and expense reporting

Financial transactions

Data management utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel

Providing executive support to the CFO

5+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant

Working proficiency in Great Plains

Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, V lookup, & H lookup)

Prior experience managing reports utilizing BI or Hyperion

Exceptional communication skills-both written and verbal

Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
