Bookkeeper

DescriptionIf you're a proven Bookkeeper and capable of working on a team, Accountemps has the position for you. If you have experience with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then this may be the right part-time Bookkeeper role for you. This short-term temporary-to-full-time part-time position is a great opportunity for a Bookkeeper who wants to work in the Ball Ground, Georgia area. Examine payments received and record deposits

Balance accounts by reconciling entries

Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for bookkeeping

Manage and review general ledger

Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

Support quality archived records by filing documents

Support accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

Requirements

Experience using accounting software

BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

Microsoft Excel experience preferred

Accounts Receivable (AR) experience required

Deep understanding of QuickBooks

Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

3+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper
