The opportunity Company has a long and proud history of delivering projects that provide safe and reliable transportation of nearly 25% of all natural gas delivered across North America. These projects include everything from maintenance and modernization projects to large, multi-year capital growth programs. Dedicated teams of professionals rely on one another to ensure that these projects are executed with a focus on safety, regulatory compliance, quality, schedule, and cost. Construction Managers play a significant role in driving overall project success by guiding the many internal and external teams and service providers necessary to complete the work across Company s systems in accordance with the established requirements and Company s core values. This position may be filled at other company locations within the region depending on the location of the successful candidate. What you ll do Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Monitor construction activities, ensuring the application of the prevailing safety programs for all personnel on site Oversee field construction efforts to ensure project is constructed in accordance with the designs, specifications, standards, budget, safety and schedule requirements Perform routine reviews to ensure that work is progressing per the Company specifications and initiate corrective actions where appropriate Document incidents and participate in incident investigations Guide teams through established project processes including commissioning, close out of punch list, and training where appropriate Coordinate the timely completion of project documentation Ensure Company environmental policies, safety standards, and federal/local regulations are followed by all construction and inspection personnel Provide leadership for issue resolution during project construction and commissioning phases Excellent written and oral communication skills Computer skills including ability to generate progress reports using Microsoft suite of tools Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, etc.TC Energy is an equal opportunity employer and participates in the E-Verify program supervised by the U.S. government.Employer's Job# DCD49FAC-2F3E-4 Please visit job URL for more information about this opening and to view EOE statement.
