You will be treating patients with complex needs and challenging diagnoses. You will have the opportunity to develop specialized skills to manage chronically critically ill patients.

Participating in discharge planning for each patient including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.

Supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, as well as supervising OT and COTA students.

Exhibiting a “customer service” attitude.

Instilling confidence in team members, patients and families.

Performing timely and accurate documentation.

Ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met.

Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.

How you will be successful in this environment:You will demonstrate an understanding of patient needs, ensuring that each patient feels informed and understood, as well as heard. You are passionate about providing superior quality care and you are an inventive problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment.

You have a current licensure as an Occupational Therapist, as well as successful completion of the National Registry Examination.

Possessing a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Critical Care experience in a hospital setting is a plus!

Having a positive, compassionate and customer-service oriented attitude.
