Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team in Washington, DC to begin a challenging career with Citizant.

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the service delivery of all IT infrastructure operations team for a federal government client, to include, server and storage management, service desk, virtualization, exchange, and patching support. Manages multi-discipline technical teams, providing Tier1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 level troubleshooting, incident response, root cause analysis, risk analysis and management, and IT service improvement.

Mission critical team supporting the Federal Government 24x7x365 in their mission to protect and defend our nation and transform the way government agencies manage IT and improve responsiveness to their customers.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 15 years of experience performing project management
  • 5 years of experience using MS Project, the DHS SELC, and PMP best practices in order to plan and execute complex IT projects;
  • 5 years of experience managing an IT enterprise by planning, developing, implementing, coordinating, and leading project activities such as capacity planning for IT equipment and resources, developing feasible milestones, testing and validating equipment and software delivered by engineering or applications personnel, and managing schedules and resources;
  • 5 years of experience collecting functional requirements for the purposes of developing detailed plans and designs for delivery of IT solutions;
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) and Information Technology
  • Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certifications
  • Active Secret Clearance

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience managing and leading the delivery of IT infrastructure operations
  • Experience managing multi-discipline technical teams
  • Experience mentoring engineers and teambuilding with diverse staff
  • Ability to manage customer relationship, team, financials, contract, and all aspects of the day to day operations of the team.
  • Experience in DHS IT environments specifically providing O&M support would be a plus
