Cattle Hand Wanted

Seeking a dependable and reliable, full-time employee with experience and passion for bovine health to work directly with our Cattle Manager. Please apply if you are interested in becoming a part of our team on a family established cow-calf operation located near Hermiston Oregon.

Position Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Assist with pen riding and doctoring sick cattle

Moving cattle safely from pen to pen and/or pasture to pasture

Assist in processing cattle

Assist with seasonal barn chores

Keeping cattle well fed and watered

Utilize equipment such as tractors, loader, backhoe, skid steer, dump truck, etc.

Operating and maintaining power tools, hand tools, mowers, and other equipment

Prior relevant experience is required

Position Requirements:

Must have knowledge of cattle handling skills

Must be able to recognize sick and injured cattle

Have and maintain a valid driver’s license

Able to complete tasks with minimal supervision

Good attitude, strong work ethic, and takes initiative

Ability to work outside in all weather conditions, year-round.

Compensation Package available based on position:
