REAL Software Systems is seeking highly motivated individuals with strong communication skills to join our Market Development team and help impact the company’s sales efforts by developing and executing on market coverage strategies and prospecting programs. This role is rewarding to those who enjoy direct customer contact, opportunities for travel, giving both formal and informal presentations, and the exciting pace of a growing company. This role is based in our Boston office.

Directly impact RSS’ top-line. Responsible for building and executing on RSS market coverage and prospecting programs through collaboration with RSS senior managers.
Actively define coverage strategies for designated markets and execute on plan through direct and in-direct prospecting and marketing programs (direct prospect outreach/calling, e-mail/letter campaigns, advertising, etc).
Coordinate and lead introductory discussions and meetings; engage in consultative discussions related to customer requirements; and facilitate initial software demonstrations.
Attend conferences and tradeshows for purposes of spreading market awareness, gathering business intelligence and initiating relationships with potential customer or industry contacts.
Promote RSS through industry forums, whitepapers, speaking engagements, press releases, newsletter/web content, etc.
Assess market potential for new solutions into existing or new market segments
