This role will help lead the improvement and sustainability in Front Line Control and implement leading practices to create a strong control environment.Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.comIn this role, you will be responsible for:Overseeing operations required to create and facilitate routine governance and reporting products and services

Documenting and presenting strategic plans to ensure continuous evolution of products and services

Organizing and leading teams to align with overall strategic initiatives

Drive effective governance (including escalation) across the organization

Collaborating with stakeholders within technology and across lines of business to produce accurate monthly risk reports and continuously identify areas of improvement

Monitor and complete tasks within processes and workflows to ensure completeness and accuracy of deliverables

Research and leverage tools and technologies to strategically plan and execute initiatives that lead to more efficiencies and effectiveness

Document standard operating procedures and produce evidence to support effective control execution

Facilitate the collection, tracking, and organization of data across the organization to ensure integration of technology and business risk governance routines

Facilitating the identification and analysis of effective IT/IS Key Risk Indicators and other risk metrics

Using the metrics to develop quality monthly risk reports that are used C Suite, Board and Regulatory governance routines

Establish relationship with second and third lines of defense while supporting assessments and audits

To be successful, this candidate must understand operational risks and risk management, particularly related risks such as information technology and information security risk. This highly visible role requires strong interpersonal skills, organizational expertise, presentation skills and leadership capabilities. Clear communication and stakeholder engagement is critical to review and challenge metrics used in reporting, and improve report messaging.Required Qualifications, US:7+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:Experience working with JIRA and Confluence to manage workflows and tasks

Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access) skills

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

Knowledge and understanding of metrics based analysis: reporting and trend analysis
