Provide for the timely and accurate production of deposit account research requests. Provide for the timely and accurate production of deposit account research requests. Maintain the required confidentiality of customer/bank information. This position is part-time with flexible hours, likely at 20 hours per week. Must have banking or legal experience.Possesses knowledge of corporate products and services, to suggest products.

Responsible for the reviewing and the fulfillment of daily research requests, establish priority and record on the control log. Ensure that Branch/Back Office/Customer requests are completed within established time frames and provide informational updates to the Operations Risk Department.

Process Legal, grand jury and IRS information subpoena requests within the prescribed time frames. Escalate immediately when issues arise.

Create files and maintain records for all research requests. Follow established procedures for invoicing and collection of fees. Complete monthly reconciliation of general ledger and secure management sign off.

Coordinate informational updates between Legal and Operations Risk Management pertaining to the current status of requests from both State and Federal agencies.

Maintain a working knowledge of all research platforms used in the process to fulfill request including but not limited to:

FSB

Synergy

E-Vision

Net Check

Film, Fiche

BAM

Prepare documents provided by legal department required to respond to legal Interrogatories/ Writs of Execution.

Complete required Bank compliance courses and attend other training as it may become necessary

Recognize and practice complete confidentiality.

Maintain concise procedures for research process.

Participate in the documentation and testing of the Disaster Recovery plan.

Provide assistance to BSA/AML compliance area through the monitoring/reviewing of customer reports including:

Perform review function for BSA Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Process

Review of new customer records for missing EDD data

Prepare report for missing items

Update Miser system with NAICS codes

Code records that are exempt from process

Possesses knowledge of corporate products and services, to suggest products.

While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to operate a computer terminal with repetitive motion. Physical requirements of this position are considered sedentary work involving preparing documentation, preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, and resolving inquiries. Some amount of mobility in order to access files is necessary. The employee is expected to converse with internal and external customers and exchange information.Attention to detail, self motivator, problem solving skills
