MITRE’s CMS Alliance to Modernize Healthcare FFRDC (Health FFRDC) is seeking a Change Analyst for the Digital Modernization and Transformation Department. The ideal candidate will have interest in interacting with federal stakeholders in a variety of activities to promote the effective delivery of healthcare technology. Specifically, the candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills and apply these abilities in a project team setting. As a Change Analyst, the candidate is expected to conduct research, develop technical capabilities, and apply innovative solutions for aligning people, processes, and technology-related changes to achieve strategic outcomes. In addition, the candidate will exhibit the ability and interest in developing strategies for Organizational Change Management, workforce management, stakeholder engagement, communications, public health, quality improvement, performance measures, and/or health IT that provide people-centric approaches for transitioning from the current operating environment to the desired future state (e.g., business model innovation, IT modernization, etc.), and to support agencies within The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) through all phases of healthcare modernization and transformation.The candidate best suited for the position will thrive in a highly dynamic environment, performing independent work, as well as, working comfortably in team settings. The position will include analysis, planning, interfacing with customers, project management, and interactions with both public and private sector entities advising Federal health agencies.This position requires experience interacting with sponsors and the ability to develop general subject matter expertise in health care and human services, public health, health information technology, and other health-related government initiatives.The position provides an exciting opportunity to make a substantive impact in the areas of health technology, federal policy, and public health.Job Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with MITRE colleagues, government sponsors, and industry stakeholders to shape project initiatives and deliver project work

Develop, apply, and expand specific subject matter knowledge to achieve project objectives and to contribute to impactful outcomes

Support project outcomes by capturing key decisions, action items, and information and assisting in project logistics

Assist MITRE and HHS with analysis in support of federal health program implementations

Develop products such as research papers, briefing papers, and recommendations to support program administration

Minimum Qualifications:

Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience with a related Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of related education and work experience such as Organizational Change Management, Change Management, and/or Organizational Development

Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to Public Trust information .

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate analyses and findings to various stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated interest in healthcare and health equity

Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Ability to create high-quality work products with attention to detail
