Education Program Manager - Imaging

Manages the activities of the Residency Program and Post-Graduate Education on a daily basis. Manages recruitment, rotation, time off, scheduling, curriculum and evaluation/clinical competence. Involved in evaluation of programs; coordinates activities of Division Chairman, Faculty Advisors, Medical Education and Clinical Competency Committees. Acts as a resource for the purpose of research related to Medical Education.Responsibilities:Manages the activities of the Residency Program and Post-Graduate Education on a daily basis.

Maintains oversight of residents, fellows and medical students' curriculum requirements.

Develops the master schedules and modifies schedules due to anticipated/unanticipated issues.

Authorizes time off. Develops, implements and manages recruitment.

Oversees and manages the administration of performance evaluations, orientation and resident examinations.

Compiles faculty and resident evaluations.

Assures programs meet various Cleveland Clinic, federal and state requirements, policies and accreditation standards.

Other duties as assigned.

Education:Bachelor's Degree in related field required.

Certifications:None required.

Complexity of Work:Requires demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to work successfully with all levels of the Foundation.

Requires statistical analysis, data gathering and data reporting.

Work Experience:Three years of experience in an education setting within a teaching hospital or in a university with emphasis on adult education, curriculum development, group behavior and student counseling.

Four additional years of internal experience may offset the degree.

Preferred Qualifications:Master's Degree

Prior experience with GME (Graduate Medical Education) programs

Physical Requirements:Requires frequent sitting, walking and computer entry.

Normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.

High degree of dexterity to operate computer and ability to communicate verbally by phone or in person.

Personal Protective Equipment:Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
