DescriptionHiring for a PLC Technician to support plant operations with PLC & Electrical Troubleshooting. They will also be responsible for the calibration of instruments & weekly assigned PM's.Day to day: Observes functioning of installed PLC/Robotic equipment to detect hazards, problems, and the need for service, repair and/or replacement of electrical, electronic and mechanical components. Must be able to write, edit, test and diagnose PLCs Plan layout and function of controls, wiring, systems and power distribution May be required to provide technical support to all maintenance personnelInstrumentation and Control Technicians: I&C Techs are more affiliated with startups and shutdowns on the controls side. Quality candidates must be familiar with troubleshooting plant equipment and systems, calibrating sensors and analyzers, configuring logic in control systems and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controller (PLC’s) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) Instrumentation and Electrical Technicians:I&E techs are heavier on the electrical and pneumatic aspect of instrumentation.
