Plant Technician

Description:Candidates will be sitting in the operation room about 50% of the time.In the operation room they will be using multiple computer screens and programs to make sure that the ethanol is fermenting properly.They may need to enter commands to manipulate the batch recipes, they will watch for any errors and ensure the processes are operating correctly.20% of the time the techs will be in the lab taking samples out of the tanks and testing their PH levels. They will need to be comfortable with heights, as soon of this may require climbing ladders or going outside to walk from 1 building to another.The remaining 30% of the time will be doing clean up on the floor and doing some repairs on equipment. Will respond to alarms when repairs are needed. They should be comfortable working with hand and power tools.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Must Haves: Ability to lift 60 lbs Ability to use standard hand and power tools (drills, hammer, tape measure, etc.) No fear of heights Proficient with operating a computer - should be comfortable learning new systemsExperience Level:Entry LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
