Description:In a nutshell, candidates will be pulling raw materials using a sit down forklift. They will be taking the materials to the batching room. They will be measuring, and mixing per batch sheets.Accurately follow directions on batch sheetsAccurately and thoroughly record required information on batch sheetsDispense and weigh chemicals into mixing pots to make batchesPack chemical products from mixing pots into 55-gal drums, 5-gal pails, 1-gal pails and smaller containersMove pallets of drums/materials with forkliftMaintain/use raw materials inventory on a “first-in, first-out” basisPrint product labels with a computer and label product containersClean mixing potsKeep the production area neat and unclutteredPut chemicals back on the rack after useUnderstand the hazards of chemicals through company-provided training and read MSDSs and labelsWear proper personal protective equipment (e.g., gloves, safely glasses or goggles, respirators, aprons, coveralls) and follow safety procedures and rulesReport safety concerns immediately to your supervisor, the Plant Manager or Safety Committee MemberStrive for continuous improvementAdditional Skills & Qualifications: 0 – 3 years of industry and/or on the job training Minimum of a high-school education Valid drivers license and good driving record Basic computer skills and ability to learn them Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math Ability to work well with othersExperience Level:Intermediate Level6am - 2:30pm$19/hrAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
