Pay: $22-28/hrShift: 11am-7pm OR 1pm-9pmLocation: Bedford, OHDescription:Typical Day: Preventative maintenance on slitter machines Will be performing maintenance on fork trucks Troubleshooting machines to get them back up and running Facility maintenance – emergency lights- if the door breaks they can fix it Determine what wires need to be replaced what wires go to what and fuses Machinery and electrical work Will be working with 480V Will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining production plant assets Perform preventative maintenance Read blueprints and schematics May be performing some welding - using TIG welder Will be using welders and torches to repair the machinery- cutting something out Will be building racks for storage by using the welder Working with hydraulics and pneumatics Repairing conveyer belts Installation of new machines This position will be mostly mechanical and they will train someone who is very mechanically inclined (machine builder background) Any knowledge of PLC’s is a plus – may program / edit machines (mostly outside company comes in and does that) They do not have to have experience with maintenance of Slitter Machines but can be trained if they have basic troubleshooting and repairing experience of industrial equipment. Will be repairing overhead cranes, forklifts, hydraulic circuits, gears (previous candidate that got hired was from majestic steel- allen Bradley- PLC’s, from a steel background would be a big plus ) Machines- fork trucks, deburring line, skiver, installation of machines, slitter machinesAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Must have at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or trade school experience
Must have hydraulics and pneumatics experience
Ability to read blueprints
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Experience working with gears
