The candidate will:Responsibilities
Performing process audits for compliance with AS9100D.
Perform audits involving IT services such as: change requests throughout hardware installation, computer rack configuration, cabling, change/configuration management, and the change life cycle.
Develop processes and procedures to ensure that quality standards are engineered into the project life cycle.
Work with project managers, system engineers and technical personnel to ensure that standards are built into projects from the beginning.
Review project progress continuously to identify and correct issues as they arise.
Spot check capabilities that have completed implementation to ensure that standards are being maintained during the sustainment period.
Have duties that include physical activity such as climbing ladders, crawling under raised floor, tracing cables, working in computer centers and working around industrial equipment.
Receive direction, guidance, monitoring, and control of this function from the QA Lead and other managers within the IRES contract. The IT Quality Assurance Technician will perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 1 year of general experience; Associate’s degree, or higher, and 0 years of general experience Must have at least 2 years of directly related experience in and engineering field that includes Quality Assurance and project/process auditing Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project) Must have an understanding of project management lifecycle and risk management Must be able to balance and occasionally work from ladders, scaffolding and elevated surfaces, and below raised floors, climbing stairs, walking, squatting, kneeling, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Must have an active DoD Secret Security ClearanceDesired Requirements: Possession of QA certifications A related degree ITIL Process experience ITIL Intermediate Certification for Service Transition, QA Auditing, Engineering, System Lifecycle Methodologies Experience with Root Cause Analysis, or Failure Mode Effect Analysis Working knowledge of Risk Management Systems, ISO 9001, AS 9100 with practical application experience Knowledge of Missile Defense, Software Engineering, Engineering Services, DoD communications systems, or process improvement initiatives
