With an abundance of collaborative individuals MEIT is an organization that provides the opportunity to truly reach your potential as a professional.Overview:The IT Project Manager will support the Missile Defense SpaceEnterprise Architecture (MDSEA) on the Integrated Research and Development forEnterprise Solutions (IRES) contract in support of the Missile Defense Agency(MDA) Space Sensors (SS) directorate.The MDSEA is a combination of scalable, flexible, virtualizedinfrastructure and physical hardware, providing data transport, storage,processing and cyber-services to support the MDA Space Systems' RTD&E andfuture missions. The candidate will:Responsibilities

Manage a suite of spacesystems projects, ranging in complexity, from inception to completion

Confidently overseeproject scope, schedule, and financial commitments supporting contract goals incollaboration with all stakeholders

Plan and schedule projectdeliverables using established Earned Value tool sets

Manage expectations,resolve issues and conflicts, and build mitigation plans

Author and deliverproposals, status reports, and executive level presentations

The successfulcandidate will:

Exhibit cognitiveownership of their project deliverables and partner with matrixed resources todeliver results according to customer expectations

Be proficient withMicrosoft Office products and MS Project scheduling software

Demonstrate excellentverbal, written, and interpersonal ‘teaming’ soft skills

This position will be filled atSchriever AFB, Colorado Springs, CO.

Qualifications

Must have one of the followingcombinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years ofgeneral experience; Associate’s degree and 6 years of general experience;Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 2years of general experience.

Must have at least 5years of experience in project/portfolio resource planning, reporting,prioritization, and budgeting and experience leading projects and programswithin and outside IT, as well as projects and programs that involved externalproviders.

Experience with spaceprogram project planning

Must have experiencesuccessfully driving projects to completion while integrating matrixedresources

Must have an active DoDSecret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements:

PMP Certified

ITIL Certified

Earned Value Managementand Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience

Experience managinghigh dollar-value projects ranging in complexity

Experience managinggeographically separated project teams

Experience managingprojects in traditional waterfall and/or agile methodologies

Ballistic MissileDefense System (BMDS) Domain knowledge
