Principal Data Engineer

Principal Data Engineer Mission-based company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer to lead their expanding data engineering team. Their ideal candidate has the desire to take on a leadership role and make architecture decisions, while also being a part of the hands-on development. Responsibilities:

• Building out the data platform
• Hands-on development

Making architecture decisions
• Leading and working collaboratively with a team
• Being a part of the hiring for the expanding team

• BS/BA in Computer Science

6+ years of experience
• Data modeling experience or experience building data pipelines

Experience with Python and Scala
Experience with AWS
• Experience with Postgres and SQL
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Team-leadership experience

• Experience with Airflow

Experience building data platform from scratch
