Responsibilities
  • Manage Linux server infrastructure at domestic and global data centers
  • Work with Developers and other senior infrastructure engineers to investigate new products and techniques to improve efficiency and performance in the environment
  • Maintain trading system messaging middleware
  • Provide additional day-to-day support including system analysis, monitoring, and performance tuning, as well as developer workstation support

Requirements
  • 3+ years experience with Linux OS
  • Experience with system monitoring and configuration tools (Ansible, Puppet, Nagios, etc.)

    • Familiar with automating infrastructure instances (Bash, Python)
  • Linux kernel tuning experience

Preferred Additional Skills
  • Experience with version control tools (Git)
  • Experience with AWS cloud functions
  • Experience with REST APIs
