Job title: Healthcare DATA MODELER Location :Deerfield - IL Job summary Responsibilities: Create data flows diagrams, data models, perform data analysis and create technical source to target specifications as needed. Participate in gathering information from customers or business leaders to meet solution needs Work with subject matter experts to perform data profiling activities to understand source data and data modeling requirements Work closely with systems analysts, software developers, data managers and other team members to ensure successful production Experience 10to12yrs Required Skills Technical Skills- ,Data Modeler, healthcare Nice to have skills Techincal Skills- Technology Data Management Roles & Responsibilities: Create data flows diagrams, data models, perform data analysis and create technical source to target specifications as needed Participate in gathering information from customers or business leaders to meet solution needs Work with subject matter experts to perform data profiling activities to understand source data and data modeling requirements Work closely with systems analysts, software developers, data managers and other team members to ensure successful production of analytical solutions Ensure a seamless integration of new and existing systems to eliminate potential problems and maintain data structure and integrity Experience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting solutions Create logical and physical data models, generate DDL for table creation. Reverse engineering data models from a database Write clear, concise, and complete data element definitions Assist and maintain a corporate repository of all data architecture artifacts Skills: Ability to model transactional systems and data warehouse/mart databases using 3rd normal or dimensional modeling Ability to create and run SQL queries to profile and analyze data. Knowledge of Cloud Solutions including AWS, S3, EC2, Python, Snowflake, SQL, ETL/ELT, Data Warehouse solutions and databases Strong analytical, creative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Detail-oriented team player who can consistently provide valuable suggestions and solutions in areas of analytical solutions Strong verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills Conceptual thinking to ensure all parts of an application function together as intended Education/Experience: Bachelor or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent experience Minimum 4 years of data modeling experience Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Practitioner certification and Solution Architect certification a plus
