Business Analyst

Role Title: Business Analyst Location: Lansing, MI Full Time Required Skills:

• Min 2-4 Years' of experience writing epics, user stores acceptance criteria, and managing scrum team backlogs.
• Knowledge and Understanding of Service-oriented architecture design, Webservices, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML, XSD, ESQL, and JSV
• Knowledge of DataPower, Webservices Security, SSL, TLS, O-Auth, Digital certificates, Encryption, and Digital Signatures
• Hands-on experience in Oracle database SQL Queries
• Experience with ALM tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps
• Experience in Full Software Development Lifecycle
• Understanding of Agile Methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong critical thinking: You can understand how small details fit into the big picture, and how different aspects of a process are related.
• Ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the client and/or team
• Ability to work with senior client stakeholders, cross-vendor teams, and senior project managers
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

• Conduct effective interview/research to determine and document the stakeholders, business needs, and requirements
• Create and analyzes workflow diagrams
• Capture, refine, prioritize, and maintain the backlogs, including the definition of features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Work directly with scrum teams and Product Owners to ensure we are building the right product, executing our roadmap and release plans
• Continuous and transparent communication with our stakeholders the prioritization of the workstream backlog and the status of development efforts via product demos, release plans, and other means
• Assisting the Scrum Team with any design questions
• Driving the requirement/enhancement discussions, suggest design approaches/improvements
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standup meetings, backlog grooming sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospective meetings
