Position Title: Product Owner Location: Remote Responsibilities:

  • Lead one of several Agile Scrum development teams focused on eCommerce software development on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), on our Continuous Delivery track
  • Partner closely with your team's Scrum Master to lead Program Increment (PI) Planning and subsequently Sprint Planning for your team
  • Conduct discovery, collecting and analyzing information from business stakeholders, product management, UX, and cross-functional teams to shape requirements
  • Write user stories and their acceptance criteria for developer implementation
  • Define KPIs for user stories in line with the goals of the feature
  • Consult UX Design team on planned changes to frontend user interfaces
  • Write and keep up-to-date functional specification documents
  • Ensure team develops features in compliance with accessibility, security and legal
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings and influence sprint goals and commitments
  • In collaboration with the Product Management team, make adjustments to sprint plans to account for emergent needs and shifts in prioritization
  • Ensure the delivery of each sprint, keeping in constant communication along the way with the Product Management team and other key stakeholders about any risks, concerns, issues, dependencies, or blockers
  • Manage changes in scope, always ensuring delivery of value to the end user
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of each of your team's user stories
  • Lead Sprint Demos at the conclusion of each sprint, keeping a broad range of stakeholders informed about work completed and soliciting their feedback
  • Provide ideas for feature enhancement and optimization based on stakeholder feedback and observations made in working closely with the sites
  • Stay up-to-date with capabilities of the SFCC platform and its link cartridge partners
  • Work with Agile Coach to continuously refine skills and resolve Agile team-related issues
  • Actively participate in various skills development and training sessions, in particular those centered around Agile ceremonies and best practices
  • Key Interfaces: Product Management, User Experience, Solution Architecture, Development, and QA teams
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Web Design, or other STEM field highly preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in eCommerce on an Agile Scrum development team
  • Experience working for a large retailer, CPG company or eCommerce systems integration or software development agency
  • Hands-on experience in managing features and functionality for eCommerce desktop and mobile websites
  • Experience with large eCommerce platforms (e.g Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and websites strongly preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills along with strong business acumen
  • Ability to learn, understand and converse around key business issues
  • Respected and trusted team player with a proven track record of achievement
  • Demonstrated integrity and maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges
  • Displays a strong sense of autonomy, able to operate independently given direction, and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised
  • Interpersonal savvy: an ability to effectively work with and connect with all levels of employees across multiple functions and geographies
  • Detail-oriented with strong project planning, tracking & organizational skills
  • Nice to Have: SAFe POPM Ceritfication
