Teaching Positions - hiring ASAP! (Santa Fe)

A local organizationis hiring 2 teaching staff to oversee the virtual curriculum of a small group of kids enrolled in SFPS; a lead teacher and an assistant.

No teaching certification is required, as staff is overseeing the virtual curriculum of SFPS and supplementing with extracurriculars such as art and outdoor education. Experience in youth education and a desire to work with kids (ages 9-13) is a must!

Staff will be well-supported by our board members and small community of parents. Safety is our #1priority, and we adhere strictly to CDCguidelines and Gov Grisham's orders to protect against the transmission of coronavirus. Preventative measures include covid testing for staff prior to start date, mask-wearing, social distancing, deep daily cleanings of the classroom space, daily temp check records, hand-washing stations, and more.

Both positions are offered on a 12-month contract. Staff will be expected to follow the public school calendar, and be present in downtown Santa Fe on Monday-Friday for full days. At least two adults will be on duty at all times, and staff will have access to a full-range of educational resources and transportation/funding to get students outside and engaging in safe, socially-distant ways with community leaders and educators.
