ResponsibilitiesOur Consultants help our clients transform their business processes, systems, and improve internal controls; improve efficiency of operations; increase transparency and performance management; and comply with Federal laws and regulations. During your assignment, you will be given the opportunity to support projects to address some of the most significant project challenges faced by our federal and commercial clients. The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals who are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Project members can be provided the opportunity to interact with our clients' senior management, as well as with the opportunity to enhance their skills in the areas of technical competency, business development, client service, and people development. You'll be working with an experienced team to support the development of client deliverables, internal and client presentations, day-to-day project logistics, and any additional project tasks.Depending on your area of study and team assignment, this position provides individuals the opportunity to serve clients in the area(s) of: informatics, data analytics, IT strategy, software development, visual design, process improvement, cybersecurity, information management systems. Qualifications

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited degree program in 2022 and graduate by Summer of 2023)

  • Degree/Majors Preferred:

    Computer Science/Computer Information Systems, Business Technology, Systems Management, Finance, Accounting, Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Current GPA of 3.3 or higher
  • Previous related intern experience
  • Experience planning and executing projects of varying degrees of complexity, preferably projects that involve serving a client and engaging directly with the client throughout project performance
  • Experience working in teams to produce high-impact work products, reports, and other deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Possesses strong oral and written communication skills
  • Heightened attention to detail, and the ability to create and edit technical and non-technical written work products and graphical presentations
  • Ability to view problems from multiple angles and apply a variety of solutions to solving them
  • Ability to participate in client-facing discussions and meetings
  • Ability to synthesize information quickly and learn new skills
  • Passionate about reinvesting in the company you work for and representing the company's brand

For the Cybersecurity Team's Open Source Solutions practice, some combination of skills and experience related to:
    • Open source tools/software (e.g., big data analytics, GIS software),
    • Social media platforms and aggregators (e.g., Weibo, WeChat, VK, Facebook, Twitter, Gab, Sprout, Brandwatch) for analysis purposes,
    • Syndicated or API-accessed databases (e.g., S&P, Bloomberg Law),
    • Coding languages (e.g., R and Python),
    • Visualization software (e.g., PowerBI or Tableau),
    • Other technology (e.g., natural language processing and web-scraping techniques),
    • Cyber threat intelligence,
    • Foreign languages, and
    • Specialized niche skills/knowledge (e.g., software billing of materials, counterfeit parts)
