DescriptionAn industry-leading Agriculture company has an excellent and immediate opening for an eager and skilled Accounting Manager through Robert Half Finance. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading daily operations such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. The ideal candidate should be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. Command sufficient knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Encourage and manage the full accounting team performance so that close deadlines are met
Prepare a variety of technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures
Play key role in implementation of NetSuite Financials including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, which includes document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Collaborate with FP&A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Review and analyze balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Requirements
Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
2+ years of recent relevant financial experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
Solid technical skills
CPA or MBA preferred
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred
QuickBooks experience
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
