Ann Arbor, Michigan. This is primarily an in-person role with some remote work availability. As a

Solution Architect, you will work directly with the Vice President of Information Technology on various strategic projects utilizing multiple platforms and technologies. You will spearhead the architecture of enterprise solutions to promote automation, efficiency, and standardized process. You are ideally suited for this role if you are:

  • A communicator who can not only discuss solutions directly with the business owner but also lead technical discussions with IT focused group.
  • An architect who can think design integrated solutions across multiple systems and manage the implementation timely.

  • A mentor who is willing to share and discuss ideas with co-workers
Responsibilities include:
  • Design, architect, and manage enterprise project implementation
  • Effectively communicate with management and business owners on progress, issues, and resolutions
  • Mentor junior developers on technical implementations
  • Implementation of life cycle management
  • Enterprise solution design (SoA, ETL, database, MQ)
  • System documentation and review
  • Serve as a team player and contributor
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of proven hands-on development in Microsoft .Net Core and related tools/technologies
  • 2+ years of enterprise solution architecture design and implementation
  • 2+ years of application development leadership
  • Experience with complex data integration and query via SQL
  • Experience with multi-system integration using:
    • Service-oriented architecture
    • Micro-services
    • Web services in SOAP and JSON
    • Data integration via ETL tools
    • Event-based data streaming
  • Experience with XML/JSON schema management and authoring
  • Experience with data transformation via XSLT
  • Proven ability to derive a common algorithm to solve a complex problem
  • Proficient in various data structure and design pattern
  • Motivated to learn and develop new skills
  • Bachelor degree in computer science/engineering or higher
