American Bar, a restaurant that exudes clubbiness without exclusivity, is hiring for our lead host position. We are seeking highly motivated and energetic professionals to join our team at our iconic West Village institution.
Applicants must have 2+ years experience working at an upscale restaurant. Candidates must also be well versed in the RESY operating system. The lead host will be expected to work in tandem with our Maitre'd to plot and seat our reservations on a daily basis. Lead hosts will fill in for the maitre'd on their days off with potential to earn hourly plus tips . The host team is our first and last opportunity to impress the guest. We must be warm and welcoming at all times. Our philosophy is to provide exceptional cuisine, hospitality and grow together!
