DescriptionRobert Half Legal is actively recruiting self-motivated legal assistants with workers' compensation experience for a prestigious boutique law firm. This opportunity will start immediately, and the successful candidate will work directly under a managing partner, manage incoming calls, calendaring, drafting, and client contacts. Experience with Time Matters and/or CompuLaw is a PLUS! Assist litigation attorneys and paralegals with preparation for trial

Assist attorneys and paralegals in preparing correspondence, documents, motions and pleadings

Organize and maintain documents and files, i.e., discovery materials, deposition notices, deposition exhibits and summaries

Review pleadings, track status of cases and determine deadlines

Calendar and maintain case deadlines

Experience with Workers' Compensation is a must

RequirementsRequirements:

Recent JD candidates are encouraged to apply

2+ years' experience supporting a litigation firm

Excellent organizational, case and/or project management skills

Familiarity with database and litigation software packages, i.e., Microsoft Office Suite, CompuLaw, Time Matters, Lexisnexis, etc.

Ability to work and learn independently and meet deadlines

Ability to interact well with attorneys, staff and clients

Excellent writing and prooing skills

Experience with Workers' Compensation
