User Experience (UX) Designer

DescriptionThe Creative Group is working with a client who has a job opening for User Experience (UX) Designers. To succeed at this User Experience (UX) Designer role, you will need to conceive and conduct user research, interviews and surveys, and translate them into sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes. In this role, you will also design the overall functionality of the product and iterate upon it to ensure a great user experience. This is a job for a creative thinker who enjoys working independently as well as collaborating with colleagues. This long-term temporary employment opportunity is based in the Newport Beach, California area.Key responsibilities

Utilize results from user research and workflow analysis to make riveting experiences for users of a product

Running usability testing on prototypes or finished products to assess the quality of a user experience

Partnering with other members of the digital marketing team on the development of new initiatives

Areas of focus may consist of content, controls, visual design, packaging, customer/technical support, branding, and other aspects of user experience

Providing support to other team members as needed (QA, data entry, production updates, resizing of graphics, etc.)

Partnering with business users and application developers to translate requirements into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes

Producing tools such as personas, usage scenarios, site maps, taxonomies, and wireframes

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience

Skilled in prototype/mockup software (e.g. Sketch, Balsamiq, Zeplin)

High attention to detail

A portfolio highlighting UX (wireframes/prototypes/other UX artifacts) and visual design work

If you have strong interpersonal skills, you are probably a good fit for this position

Well-founded grasp of Digital Designs

UX experience

Solid understanding of Mobile UX

Foundational knowledge in UX/UI Design

UI UX And Design experience

Practical knowledge of Detailed Wireframes

Proven knowledge of Design Concepts

Experience with design skills

General familiarity with Create Wireframes

3+ years of experience within the digital design/UX industry

Understanding of Web Accessibility and testing tools (e.g. Lighthouse, Google Accessibility Developer Tools)

Understanding of graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography applications such as Adobe Creative Suite

In-depth knowledge of design software and authoring tools
