Job Description

• Responsible for all aspects of data access and data cleaning/standardization in order to prepare raw data for feature creation.

• Balance accuracy and efficiency to architect customized data science solutions that answer client business goals in a timely manner.

• Create presentations to communicate data insights and findings with external technical and nontechnical audiences.

• Proactively research and share new approaches and techniques within ML and design ways to implement within a project.

• Function as part of a development team.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be independent thinkers capable of analyzing requirements, extracting data for analysis, and developing algorithms and tools

• Successful candidates will work within a team but should be self-driven and comfortable working independently

• Machine Learning experience

• Python or similar

• Passion for solving sophisticated data engineering and modeling tasks

• SQL ability and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and schema normalization techniques

• Ability to work in a fun, collaborative team environment

• Candidate must have a degree in computer science, math, statistics, physics, computational biology, or a closely related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
